A lot of people start with affiliate marketing since it is considered the simplest business model.

I am not saying it is easy, but it is very simple:

• Help them to make decision
• Get commission

The truth is that there is a lot of work behind these 3 steps.

But is it worth it?
And how much can a beginner make in affiliate marketing?

Let’s say that a beginner is a person that started out exactly a year ago.

How much does he make?

From $0 to $1,000 per month.

Why such a range?

Let’s deep into it a bit deeper but before we start I would like to make one important announcement:

A lot of people start affiliate marketing as a side hustle.

That being said, a lot of folks still go to 9-5 and it is difficult to estimate when they start learning enough to quit that job.

It depends on many different things:

• How much time do they spend on content creation

In other words, don’t expect any revenue from the work you put in.

By paying for the traffic.

But it is not recommended for beginners.

In case you don’t have an extra budget for such a high-ticket course, you must rely on organic traffic.
Also called free traffic, but at the end of the day, it is not free.

You write 100 articles (every 1,500 words) and then you get the “free” traffic… well. for the time you were writing the articles you had to eat, and pay bills, right?

But think about it as this is a long-term strategy.
And if your content is evergreen, you can see the “free” traffic to your website for the next year or two… maybe even more.

How Much Can You Make a Day with Affiliate Marketing

Let’s assume that you have some traffic, based o the effort we mentioned above.

If you are an Amazon Associate and steel stuff that cost a few hundred dollars ($200 to $700), the commission you get is about 3%.

If the visitor of your website follows your affiliate link and purchases one such item you make anywhere from $6 to $20.

Every successful affiliate marketer knows that this is scalable; the more visitors he gets, the bigger the revenue he or she makes.

Now add on top of it:

• Joins different and/or additional affiliate programs.
• Have more content on your website

And it is possible to make $50 to $100 a day.

Can You Get Rich With Affiliate Marketing?

Yes, it is possible to get right with affiliate marketing.

And by rich let’s assume to make $100,000 per year.

This is definitely doable, although it won’t happen to everyone and of course, it takes at least 3 to 6 years.

But if you like to create content (whether on Youtube or Blog) you can definitely become rich.

The best part of affiliate marketing is that you can scale up the business.
There are several ways

• Paid Ads Google, or Social Media (Don’t spend on ads more than you make 🙂 )
• Outsource some work (typical of a writer)
• Drive traffic from different channels (Social Media, Email Marketing)

Let me mention once again the 2nd point – the copywriter you hire.

Make sure to train him well, You want him to create at least 80% of such content as you would do.
You can always make some corrections afterward and it probably takes a few months until he writes in a way that you can entirely rely on him.

But that’s the goal.

Once he keeps creating the content for your first website, you can create a 2nd website in a different niche.
Hire another writer and keep doing this until you have 5 or 6 websites.

Sure you have some costs paying the writers, but the revenue is much higher and with this method, you easily make 5 figures per month (even more).

But make sure to get your first website to a certain stage.
That means

• You should know what you do in erm of SEO
• Consistent traffic (at least 1,000 per day)
• Have some budget for paid traffic

How much do you want to earn?

Regardless of the number/figure, I am pretty sure, anything that is more than your current salary is great.

Go for it.

The number of people with internet connections still goes up.

People now spend more online than before and 2020 and 2021 taught a lot of people how to make purchases online.

Jump into the train as well and take some portion of billions of dollars that are in the affiliate marketing business.
