How About Keywords in Digital Marketing?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Generally speaking, a keyword in your article, must be used in such a way, that google recognizes your article as valuable, and thus, this article appears on the 1st page of google search.<\/p>\n\n\n

So, let’s say you want to create a simple website, and you already know how to do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Related: 5 Things to Know Before Creating a Website<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n You know what your niche<\/a> is and you are ready to start with content creation, particularly with specific articles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each article is based on one keyword, only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are going to show where and how to use this keyword in a minute, but let’s keep a few key elements in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here is a tip, right from Google:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Check the Google suggestions:<\/p>\n\n\n This is what people type in the search engines the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also, don’t forget about the section “People also ask”<\/p>\n\n\n So these are the keywords that people are searching for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some of the words are short, some of them are long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You have probably already heard the term long-term or short-term keywords. For sake of this article, let’s say that the long-tail keyword contains at least 4 words. Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is much easier to rank for these long-tail keywords, even with a lower authority website (regarding the website authority, in a bit).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The thing is that there is not much competition. Whatever “single-word” keyword you are going to search for, note that only websites with high authority appear in the SERP<\/a>. (Search Engine Result Page).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Let’s say we want to start a website about coffee machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It wouldn’t be a good idea, to write an article that ranks for the keyword “coffee-machine”. We need to find a keyword that people search for, and at the same time, there is not much competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the next section, we are going to check how to achieve that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We already have mentioned the long-term keyword- that this is probably the first type of keyword you are going to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But how specifically? There are certain characteristics that we want to look at:<\/p>\n\n\n Competition or in Jaaxy tool called QSR (Quoted Search Results) – the 3rd column from the left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We want to know about the competition, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n That is the number of websites that try to rank for the specific keyword as we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can type the keyword in quotes, and check how many websites there are in the SERP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This method takes a lot of time. Therefore, there are tools, called Keyword Research Tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These tools give us this specific information about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some of these Keyword Tools are for free, others only a limited number of searches per day You can check for example “ubersuggest”.<\/p>\n\n\n My favorite one is a tool called Jaaxy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That is paid tool as well, but they have several searches for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I use this tool for free, as I am a member of one particular educational platform<\/a> that teaches how to start your own online business. There is no definition of what makes a keyword, long-tailed or short-tailed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is advised to use these long keywords when it comes to building a new website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In other words, if Google sees that there are more people searching for that specific term (the long-tiled keyword) he is going to choose a website with a keyword that is as close to the keyword as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\nShort-Tail Keywords<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
